During our history as a nation, both parties have at various times proudly counted the majority of the country's conservatives among their membership. It so happens that, right now, the most vile, virulent conservatives call the Republican Party home. At one time, the KKK called the Democratic Party home. One thing is for certain though, regardless of where racists and bigots hang their hats, not much has changed when it comes to the signage that conservatives embrace.

hate is not new.
however the total refusal of the "PARTY" supposedly against hate to act in any way whatsoever to resist hate in society is new since Nixon.
Part of why Nixon was elected was the "Great Society" reforms passed by the Democrats in the '60s.
From that point on, the democraps have served the hate by NOT doing anything to resist it.
All evil needs to flourish is for good people to do nothing.
Or maybe there just are not any good people any more. someone who could do good but refuses is NOT a good person.
