You come up with great memes, Noah. What we need now, however, are solutions to these problems.
Wider spread public awareness of problems needs to come before solutions can be supported.
Trump is just a symptom of the neoliberal governance of the last 40+ years. Although the neoliberal Democrats don't express hatred overtly their governance has contributed to the conditions that led to Trump and overt hatred.
Richard and Bernblu are correct.
However, awareness is not the same thing as understanding. Solutions (that work) only happen after the problems are UNDERSTOOD.
Toward that end, Bernblu's offering is salient. And, of COURSE the democrap indifference to the consequences of their neoliberal admins/congresses (as long as their donors keep endorsing checks) governance.
Is neoliberalism the real issue? Is it capitalism in its late stages? Is it 50 years of making americans dumber than shit? Is it the assimilation of media by money? Is it the utter refusal of governance to enforce the constitution, laws and perform mandated regs on commerce and banking? Is the breeding of sociopathy among our corporate and political leaders for 60 years a factor? Is religion fundamental here or just a factor?
I'll stop there.
Now, rank the factors from most to least ... or alphabetical... or in order of occurrence since the '50s.
trump is a symptom. so was $hillbillary. So was obamanation and his spectacular failure. So is Jamie dimon and Lloyd blankfein and steven mnuchin. So is lesser evilism and DWT's insistence on keeping the status quo while concurrently proving the status quo is untenable.
see where I'm going with this? Good, because even *I* don't know where this is going. Except I DO know that staying in the same lane ain't gonna fix shit!!
