How ironic that a quote that so describes Putin's Puppet comes from a Russian; fitting really. Trump is a man who lies to himself because he is weak in every way. Lying to himself and to others is a way he gets comfortable with his endless shortcomings. Those who believe his lies do so to deal with some of their own.

Old Fyodor might be correct about SOME cases.
But trump was born that way. he was trained that way. and he's been surrounded his entire life by sycophants who reinforce the delusions he has organically and by nurture. He's enjoyed a succession of trophy wives and a harem of other tail, the ones he finds most satisfying being the wives of his friends, who tolerate it because they aspire only to lick trump's asshole.
The only difference between cheney's evil and trump's evil is that cheney knew he had to mask his evil to some extent (he need not worry any more; all his evil was normalized by obamanation). trump is unaware that his evil is unpalatable to the majority of humankind.
In America, the truly evil are born and raised that way. It isn't a matter of them lying to themselves.
And the "opposition" party does absolutely NOTHING about this. They don't even take advantage of their access to the corporate media to expose the lies.
THIS is why We the People need at least one other political party available.
The need for two or more political parties is expressed best by early Christian thinkers such a John Milton and William James. God does not derive his satisfaction from imposing good upon human thoughts and endeavors. They must first be offered both good and evil and then choose good through the use of their own free will.They must shun the Trumps of our world by virtue of their own virtue and embrace good for goodness sake.
