a reminder that absolute power does not corrupt, absolutely. It just removes the strictures and allows those with absolute power to reach the pinnacle of perfect humanness.
pure evil does seem to be the pinnacle of perfect humanness. Damn few examples exist in human history of anyone reaching absolute power who did not become pure evil.
