Well, isn't this special. During the Brett Kavanaugh hearings, it just wasn't enough for the Republican Party to message the country that sexual assault is no big deal and that Dr. Ford was lying and that Kavanaugh should be confirmed no matter what. No, soon the White House had their White Nationalist friends over at FOX "News" going the anti-Semitic route with idiotic claims that the whole Kavanaugh hearing uproar was part of a George Soros-funded plot. Once Herr Trump's minions went there, it was only one small side step, if that, to fliers and posters blaming "The Jews" for the whole damn thing; fliers complete with depictions of Senators Feinstein and Schumer, among others. Admit it, would it shock you if the flier was drawn up by some White House luminary such as Gen. Kelly or, perhaps an eager to please intern who knew how to get ahead in today's Republican Party?

Maybe this whole Nazi flier thing is something Nazi-saluting Laura Ingraham or Tucker Carlson devoted their artistic talents to and faxed over to the Oval Office. Who knows? Trump's "very fine people" at The Dailey Stormer proudly take credit for it but, really, isn't it only a matter of time before Carlson's Daily Caller officially merges with them? They might as well since Carlson has made his personal ideology so clear, even going so far as to broadcast the propaganda of his fellow white supremacists.

With Trump in the White House, this kind of thing isn't 6 degrees of separation anymore. It isn't even 3 and it isn't even 2. We've had creeping fascism in this country for decades and now the Neo-Nazi crowd finally has a president they can call their own in control of the White House, while the party of their choice controls the Senate, the House, and the Supreme Court, a court that has enabled a white Secretary of State in Georgia named Brian Kemp to purge the voting registrations of voters who he views as inclined to vote for his African-American opponent in the 2018 race for the governorship. And, as if that isn't horrific enough, also thanks to the Supreme Court (even pre-Kavanaugh) undermining Voting Rights laws, American citizens have been arrested and held or charged for assisting in voter registration, including one Texas campaign worker who was arrested only after he identified his candidate as a Democrat.

The Nazis are here. Some centrists and liberals say that telling that truth and calling Nazis exactly what they are isn't PC, that it's needlessly abrasive somehow. Fuck that. To ignore that the Nazis are here and that they are establishing a firmer and firmer grip around the neck of all that is good is to enable the worst humanity has to offer.
