Midnight Meme Of The Day!

"If you go out and you want to buy groceries, you need a picture on a card, you need ID. You go out, you want to buy anything, you need ID, you need your picture."
- Donald J. Trump, Traitor
Oh, we've got you ID'd Donnie. We've got you ID'd alright. We don't need to see a photo ID to know who and what you are. At this point we don't even need Robert Mueller to tell us what you are. That's just a legal formality and a means to whatever end. We have eyes. We have ears. We've seen your tweets. We've seen you on TV as you revel in your disloyalty.

No matter what we hear from the Mueller Investigation, a simple question that we may never know the answer to is this: At what point in his life did Donald J. Trump decide to sell out his country for rubles? Was it during his 2013 trip to Russia or before? Will some future biographer or investigator pin it down to an actual hour? A specific meeting? If so, with whom? The bottom line is that it doesn't really matter. We know enough. It's just a detail of the treachery that future historians will want to know, just like they want every detail about what what was going on in Benedict Arnold's mind as he tried to sell out the American Revolution, the minds of the Rosenbergs as they passed nuke secrets, or, say the mind of Carlos Marcello on 11/22/63. Eventually, something that at least approaches the truth comes out but it often takes decades. My guess is that the details about Trump will be so horrible that the powers that be will wrongly decide that we can't handle the truth, just like they did with Watergate and with Dallas. That decision will be, as much as anything, done to preserve the corrupt system that enabled Trump to become president in the first place. And, because of that, something similar will happen again in a few decades time.

So you know, Traitor Don, Benedict Arnold died without respect or honor in England, largely ostracized by those whose affection he craved. The Rosenbergs were executed, and, Carlos Marcello died at home in the care of nurses, after being released from prison. Which of the three fates would be most appropriate for you Donnie? I vote for none of the above. I'm thinking that you should stand trial for treason, be found guilty, a then, in a bit of Roman-style theatre, you should be drawn and quartered as halftime entertainment at the Super Bowl while all the players stand at attention, none being the slightest bit inclined to take a knee.

Quartering and Drawing (the correct sequence in the process) ends the suffering too quickly. I'd much prefer an illness which is slow, debilitating, and very painful.

I dunno, Howie, do we have any evidence that Trump is doing anything he doesn't want to do, and doing it only because Putin wants him to?

From what I can see, Trump is mostly just doing what Republicans do. That includes cooking elections. If they use Russians to what they do anyway, it's hardly "selling out".
