Master and puppet. Two men who will do absolutely anything to enrich themselves at the expense of the country they live in. One is an absolute dictator. The other one is a dictator wannabe who has accepted the aid of the other.
Meanwhile, what does the Master have planned for our elections this year and in 2020? If Putin didn't manage to get as far as hacking voting machines in 2016, you can bet your life that he will try later this year. It's in his interest to do so and, if he doesn't already have the ability to do so, he will eventually have that ability. If not him, then China or someone else down the line will do it; anyone who thinks they stand to benefit from having Señor Trumpanzee in our White House.
The so-called leader of the so-called free world has no interest in preventing such a high level of intervention in the thing that sits at the core of who we are, or at least claim to be, as a country.
No one is doing anything.
Do you really think it looks like the Democrats can make big gains this year? Remember, it was another Russian, Stalin, who said, "It's not who votes. It's who counts the votes."

Many years ago, I read a book written by Clifford Stoll entitled The Cookoo's Egg about how he tracked down a German hacker over a 75 cent charge to his computer account that he didn't recall making. All this whining over Russia could have been settled long before now. But it remains in the interests of the elites to maintain the myth, for as Goering said shortly before he escaped execution for war crimes:
"...the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."

I would remind everyone also that the 2000 election was gooned by Rs in FL, OH and likely 3 or 4 other states. The 2004 election was ratfucked in OH and others. The 2008 election was probably planned to be hacked by kkkarl rove, but he likely screwed the pooch.
And obamanation and democraps did... NOTHING!!!t
Then the DNC ratfucked Bernie by gooning the primaries in NY, NV, AZ and likely a couple others.
So bitch about putin and kinda sorta include republicans if you want. But don't ignore the democraps. They're WORSE. They had FDR numbers in congress and didn't do shit.
You EXPECT the evil to do evil. But when your 'good ones' refuse to fix evil, it is far worse.
Anon. 2:06. The Goering quote is one of the sad truths of human history. He and his boss even used the approach he outlines against the Russia of the 1930s. The difference this time is that Russia is not just in Russia now. It's also in the White House. In Goering's time, Russia was in Russia but it wasn't in Berlin.

Goering would know. He orchestrated the Reichstag fire to get Hitler dictatorial powers.
I would point out that Goering was still alive when the Russians went into Berlin... but that's picking nits.
I wonder if putin knew that the Rs in power would do LESS THAN nothing. After all, there are still a lot of R russophobes (Ds are irrelevant) still in congress, though not like in the '50s through the '90s.

Whether or not the Republicans do anything with the power that Putin allegedly engineered for them, their doing nothing is fine with him. He could do pretty much whatever he likes and nothing will be done about it. It actually puts him in a better place to barter Russian energy resources for the things that the US won't allow him to buy here (see: Confederate Cotton Embargo). In doing so, he puts Russia ahead of the US as a global leader while Trump continues to develop into a world-class fool and militarist marionette.
