Are You Going To Miss Bill O'Reilly?

Tucker Carlson will be the new Bill O'Reilly who was fired by the Murdoch's today after a 21 year run of molesting women and spreading ugly right-wing propaganda. According to the NY Times "his abrupt and embarrassing ouster ends his two-decade reign as one of the most popular and influential commentators in television. 'After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Bill O’Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel,' 21st Century Fox, the parent company of Fox News, said in a statement... [M]ore than 50 advertisers had abandoned his show, and women’s rights groups had called for his ouster. Inside the company, women expressed outrage and questioned whether top executives were serious about maintaining a culture based on 'trust and respect,' as they had promised last summer when another sexual harassment scandal forced the ouster of Roger E. Ailes as chairman of Fox News."

And it ain't over yet:
The most unsettling feeling among some at Fox News, however, is that Wednesday’s events are only the beginning. “There’s more to come,” one Fox News insider told me, suggesting that there are more women with stories of harassment who have not come forward publicly. This estimation was affirmed by two people who heard such stories directly. Others are equally concerned about the attention that is being drawn to 21st Century Fox’s handling of the allegations by women inside the company.

"Are You Going To Miss Bill O'Reilly? "

About as much as I miss anthrax delivered in the mail.

At least O'Reilly is a legitimate bully and sexual predator. Tucker Carlson is a spineless creature who pretends to be all the manly stuff O'Reilly really is.

Time to resurrect an old joke:
Q. Why does Tucker Carlson have pudding in his wallet?
A. Identification.

If it's such a manly man, why won't it meet down on the greensward at daybreak for fisticuffs?

Yes, it.

Have we hit a turning point? Yes, I think so. Women used to keep quiet about this stuff; now they won't. It's just too bad he got away with this, and got paid for it, for so many years.

And on to something better: that's a great Muddy Waters song! It's good to celebrate.

I feel O'Reilly keep us up to date on important issues & did it in such a way that it was reported fairly & honestly. I don't trust the press nor most other pundits. I like Dana & will watch just to see what happens. I know the Murdock BOYS are out to destroy Fox. Proves they don't have their father 's business abilities!

Yes, I will miss Mr. O'Reilly. I will miss his good deeds like going after the judge that gave that rapist 1 year in jail after raping that child that committed suicide. And yes I will also remember how he was the first to help the Alabama Marching Band get to the inauguration that started the flow of thousands of dollars that helped the school as well. He brought up many good things and did many good things people don't mention. Do you see any other stations doing this?

I wonder if there is more to this? Fox being the "Leader" makes me wonder if this was a joint venture with other stations to bring FOX down. This is their way of thinking this will hurt the future of President Trump too. I can see this really backfiring.

I won't miss him, but I'll never forget him. He got a doctor killed in his own church during a service. He is a skid mark on the culture. Fuck it, I'm doing it live! Yeah, real classy fellow.

Yes, I will miss Bill and will not tune into Fox anymore as they just did what was easiest and not necessarily right. Only decent show at 8:00 pm slot which kept viewers watching the next two shows following. Will not be the same. Tired of seeing people being constantly shamed today; if I was a man I would not work for that network as you will just be seen as a way to make money.
