Wait... Santorum Didn't Eat Big Bird Yet?

Republicans might not want you to think about Big Bird-- they don't-- but they'd rather you think about that than about systematic and strenuous Republican Party efforts-- always at taxpayer expense-- to limit the franchise and keep as many people from voting as possible. Ohio's soulless Ken-doll Secretary of State, Jon Husted, was at it again-- appealing a Federal Court decision that ordered him to restore early voting. Husted is taking it to the anti-democracy Supreme Court for a decision.

OK, back to Big Bird. Sesame Street teaches integrity, sharing, honesty... and arithmetic. So Republicans hate the program and Romney decided to make ending subsidies to NPR part of his campaign. Obama was just stoned or befuddled when Romney brought it up last week. So Jon Stewart did it for him... and better than the cutesy ad (above) Obama's campaign released yesterday:
