Some Thursday-night quarterbacking for Sunday Classics

No promises, but I think the May 21-23
Chopin posts are now actually functional.
by Ken
I wanted to take this opportunity to pass on two developments regarding Sunday Classics.
REVAMPED LIST OF POSTS
First, with regard to the master list, which I'd fallen a bit behind in updating, rather than simply update it in its old form, I've revamped it, so that now instead of simply listing the posts chronologically (useful as that can sometimes be), it's now arranged by composer, with a section at the end for multi-composer posts, listed by theme or artist. I'm hoping this may make the list more "browsable" and encourage listeners to delve into the now fairly considerable collection.
I'll probably play with the spacing to make it easier to look through (I was trying to keep it as compact as possible), but I'm not up to that yet.
CHOPIN'S PRELUDES REVISITED
I can report that I screwed up my courage and went into the three posts from Friday, May 21, Saturday, May 22, and Sunday, May 23, to try to figure out what went wrong with the audio clips of our seven pianists playing the first two preludes from Chopin's Op. 28 cycle of 24 -- or if not to figure it out, at least to fix it.
The original uploads of the audio files were and are fine, and I have copied and recopied them into all three days' posts. Somehow the post versions of these files kept getting corrupted, or maybe I somehow copied them incorrectly? Anyway, I have copied them once more, and as of this writing, all the files for all three posts are working:
* On Friday the 21st, you'll recall [Quiz-Contest: Belated happy 200th, Frederic! (Now name our Chopinistas)], we heard mystery pianists A-D play those first two preludes.
* Then on Saturday the 22nd [Preview: We hear three more pianists (plus a video bonus!) play those first two Chopin preludes], as the title suggests, we heard three more pianists, X-Z, play our two preludes, and I suggested some simple things to listen for.
* Finally on Sunday the 23rd [Listening to those first two Chopin preludes], we heard all seven pianists again, now identified and arranged in order of recording.
It was especially unfortunate that all this happened with this set of posts. As I indicated, I was in scratching around at a project I was contemplating to take us through all 24 preludes. I thought it might be a good idea, but then, what do I know about any of this? Unfortunately, thanks to the technical foul-up, I have no way of judging whether it may have been simply a bad idea.
In any case, there's definitely more Chopin coming up. At the moment I'm playing around with the four ballades.
Meanwhile --
TOMORROW AND SATURDAY --
We'll have a pair of previews for Sunday's post -- a paradox tomorrow, and a full eye-opening Saturday.
