PREVIEW BONUS: ONE LAST TIME
THROUGH THE ROYAL FIREWORKS MUSIC

Of course horns, though rarely spotlighted the way they would be in the Water Music, had played their part in the wind ensemble of Handel's Music for the Royal Fireworks, so I thought one last traversal of that might be in order tonight, and since we've been hearing the Concertgebouw Orchestra in the Water Music, why not hear it under van Beinum's eventual successor as music director, Bernard Haitink?
