It Hasn't Happened... Yet-- The Saturday Night Palin Video
>
Sure Sarah Palin has become of the butt of jokes all over the world but inside the McCain camp the feeling is that the joke's on them. CNN is reporting that the ambitious and overreaching Alaskan has now gone rogue. McCain insiders claim she's "looking out for herself more than the McCain campaign."
"She is a diva. She takes no advice from anyone," said this McCain adviser. "She does not have any relationships of trust with any of us, her family or anyone else.
"Also, she is playing for her own future and sees herself as the next leader of the party. Remember: Divas trust only unto themselves, as they see themselves as the beginning and end of all wisdom."
McCain is apparently regretting that he didn't bother vetting her and was caught unawares when she turned out to be the most ignorant politician he'd ever met-- and that includes Rick Renzi! "Her lack of fundamental understanding of some key issues was dramatic," said another McCain source with direct knowledge of the process to prepare Palin after she was picked. The source said it was probably the "hardest" to get her "up to speed than any candidate in history." And, judging by her rare press appearances, it wasn't a very successful effort either. Nice clothes though.
Labels: McCain's cynicism, McCain's judgment, Sarah Palin

All I have to say is that if McCain becomes the next president, he'd better watch out. It might be in his best interest to replace her by insisting that she let her increasing family obligations be the reason for her returning to Alaska. If she were to remain his VP he definitely shouldn't stand around any staircases with her. He created this monster and now that she has been let loose and gotten a piece of the action and some national attention (even though a lot of it has been extremely unflattering), there is no putting the genie back into the bottle.
when you play with fire......
palin is obviously her "own" woman -- a stupid, ignorant, dumb, incurious but savvy and ambitious politician -- and 2 hours of vetting would have discovered that...
and she is an angry one now - angry at mccain for making her look like a fool - well she did that all herself. while this is not the end of miss sarah -- it is the end of sarah palin
All the news that print to fit. There's a reason it's called "News and Entertainment".
Agreed. The "news" is simply whatever someone decides it should be. More and more people are realizing that the media is simply a self serving behemouth with no regard for fact or consequences.
The downside of macains impulsive nature. He picked her on a whim and now she is out of control and has beome a problem for his campaign.
Well if Palin is going rogue, then I blame McCain.
McCain used her as a diversion to flummox the democrats. That she did.
The consensous was at the time that she would only last three weeks and drop off the radar. She has not.
Obama's candidate Biden bumbles his way along and is a meek shadow.
Not Palin. She is a perplexing phenomenon that just will not go away and now she will not shut up.
She has irritated democrats.
Even Sandra Bernhard has said that if Palin visits Manhatten, Sandra and her black brothers will ........censored.
Sarah Palin has been reviled, savaged, hated
and mauled by the media and the 'upper echelons' of 'intellectual' America. In fact, I think she is the most despised person in America.
McCain will send her back to Alaska where she will again be
be comfortable with her guns, pit bulls and the revolting company she keeps.
Those racist 'six pack joes’, trailer trash on welfare, and over bred families.
Those third grade children she gives a ‘shout out’ to during her speeches.
McCain has lost his credibility
and dignity.
Palin will have lost nothing.
Obama will will probably be sell off Alaksa to appease Hugo Chavez.
Keep it simple folks.
She is not savvy. She is just an overdressed Barbie doll. She would not even make a splash if she had to live in real life, but as it is, she is living in image land for a few more days and has a stage and a pricey crew. After the election, she will fade back into obscurity and likely lose any office in AK she holds.
As one says, it is better to be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
Palin will likely reappear as a star in the religious right broadcasting sphere. She is not fit for the real world issues. But, she is a camera hound.
The rest of us will happily be rid of her is my opinion.
For the last two months, John “Reach Across the Aisle” McCain and Sarah “the Rogue” Palin have been accusing Barack Obama of a variety of unforgivable sins. He’s a socialist. He has terrorist affiliations. His background is suspect, as is his patriotism. He wants to tax and spend the country deeper into debt, and raise a “white flag” in Iraq. This list goes on and on. If McCain and Palin believe even half of the things on their list, how can they possibly give the standard unifying and gracious concession speech on the night of November 4th? How can Palin go from pitbull to poodle in a matter of hours without looking like a complete hypocrite? What can either of these candidates say that won’t come across as grotesquely self-serving. McCain will see it as his swan-song, where his primary objective will be to repair the damage he has done to his own honor and future ability to work in the Senate. Palin will, no doubt, see it as her opportunity to launch her future political aspirations and demonstrate her stunningly ignorant assumption that she is now the brightest star in the Republican Party. I’m sure she’s too self-absorbed and high on herself to realize that the Republican Party is going to ditch her faster than a Jamaican sprinter. John McCain, who has spent the last year telling the country that he has a record of being bi-partisan, is now going to have to work with the Senate Majority Leader and, in some ways, the Speaker of the House, whom he has spent the last two months ridiculing in his campaign. After slinging so much mud in the final weeks of their campaign, McCain and Palin have dug themselves into a deep and slippery hole. Watching them try to climb their way out of it on the night of November 4th is going to be better than an episode of “Survivor”.
