Congratulations Jared Polis (D-CO)

>

Jared just won his hard fought primary in a Colorado congressional district north and west of Denver, centered on Boulder. He'll be replacing Mark Udall as the Representative for CO-02 and I have high expectations for much more progressive and innovative leadership. Within moments of Joan Fitz-Gerald's concession, Blue America unanimously endorsed him-- as we promised we would last November. Jared is an early signer of the Responsible Plan To End the War in Iraq and his progressive stands on every key issue-- from supporting Choice to opposing warrantless wiretaps and Bush's war in Iraq-- are perfect for our PAC.

Jared will be the first-even openly gay man to win a congressional seat as a freshman. Shamefully, Inside the Beltway ass-kissers, HRC declined to endorse him. The voters in Colorado should be very, very proud of themselves and the people of America should be very proud of our brothers and sisters in Colorado. Results are updated at the Denver Post as they come in.

Please consider congratulating him today with a $5 Hurray at the Blue America ActBlue page.

He will face Democrat Hal Bidlack in November. Meanwhile, speaking of Lamborn, the 5 most reactionary members of Congress:
