Tom Waits' version of "Whistlin' Past the Graveyard" is Better Than McBush's
Reading the McCain interview in tomorrow morning's NY Times immediately brought to mind Tom Waits' stunning 1978 masterpiece, "Whistlin' Past the Graveyard." The official video left out the Republican images... so I redid it a little.

I enjoyed it. The man clearly is sharp for an old one. Barack would've deflected, stuttered and stammered, and flip and flop his positions in the following days.
