DONNA EDWARDS WAS JUST SWORN IN AS A US CONGRESSMEMBER

Today Speaker Pelosi swore in Donna Edwards as the newest member of Congress. My eyes teared up when I watched. I thought it ironic that Ms. Pelosi asked Donna to swear she will "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic" and that she "will bear true faith and allegiance to the same." Does that mean Donna has to make a citizen's arrest of Steny Hoyer?
Watch Donna declare herself an agent of change-- and change now-- not when Bush leaves the White House he has disgraced... now. Donna should replace Hoyer as Majority Leader.

You just mentioned what never gets mentioned enough. Even George Bush never mentions that. He thinks his job is to protect and defend the American people. It is not. Then again, the irony of Edwards oath is lost on Pelosi and Hoyer.
