Creepy tidings from Alabama: Conspiracy or coincidence? You be the judge

>

I'm not a big fan of conspiracy theories generally. They usually seem to have more to do with people's deep-seated enjoyment of scenarios that tend to be ever so much more entertaining than real life.

However, there are conspiracies, for real. They really do happen. And I'm at least as skeptical, if not more, about coincidences.

This one comes from DailyKos. Decide for yourself:
Siegelman whistleblower run off road, home caught fire

Wow, this happened in February, and yet did anybody hear about this? Whistleblower Dana Jill Simpson's home caught fire, and then a few days later, her car was run off the road by a former police officer! This is all in addition to Don Siegelman's home being broken into twice, as was his lawyer's office.

What the hell is going on?

Hmmm. This is Alabama, after all. And we're talking about not just Alabama Republicans, but the kind of Alabama Republicans who already engineered the railroading of a sitting governor out of office and eventually into the slammer--with Karl Rove, around whom amazingly mysterious, conspiracy-compatible happenings always seem to happen, in the thick of things.
