ERIC MASSA CALLS OUT RUSH LIMBAUGH: "YOU'RE A POMPOUS COWARD"

Eric Massa is a Blue America-endorsed candidate for the House of Representative from New York State. He knows exactly how Democrats should speak to school yard bullies like Limbaugh. Eric is the kind of guy we want and need in Congress, not mealy-mouthed compromisers. Limbaugh is a disgrace to our country and should be taken off Armed Forces Radio immediately. Eric Massa belongs in Congress. Help him get there-- here.

NOT JUST A POMPOUS COWARD...

But also a practiced liar.

Typical left-winger, wouln't know the truth if it slapped him in the face but certainly knows how to spend the latest rhetoric.

Eric probably read only the talking points and grabbed a chance for some headlines. Here is what actually happened. Rush talked about Jesse MacBeth, another anti-war soldier who won a purple heart and talked about atrocities committed by his fellow soldiers. On little problem, Jesse was drummed out of the service after only 44 days. This heart-throb of the anit-war crowd was a "phony" soldier in ever since of the word. BTW Eric you speak only for your self. I also served and you do not speak for me nor for any ex-military that I know. So go away!

The morning update on Wednesday dealt with a soldier, a fake, phony soldier by the name of Jesse MacBeth who never served in Iraq; he was never an Army Ranger. He was drummed out of the military in 44 days. He had his day in court; he never got the Purple Heart as he claimed, and he described all these war atrocities. He became a hero to the anti-war left. They love phony soldiers, and they prop 'em up. When it is demonstrated that they have been lying about things, then they just forget about it. There's no retraction; there's no apology; there's no, "Uh-oh, sorry." After doing that morning update on Wednesday, I got a phone call yesterday from somebody, we were talking about the troops, and this gentleman said something which you'll hear here in just a second, prompting me to reply "yeah, the phony soldiers."

Anonymous: I don't blame you for not wanting to sign your names to such pathetic lies.

Read the transcript if you know how. It's clear Rush wasn't referring to Jesse Macbeth.

Wingnuts: your day is over. Your lies are being exposed, one by one.

Why is it that conservatives can't spell? I think it is because they are STUPID.

Please,

Want me to post the transcript to prove you wrong? I can't believe that you guys on left think it is a winning issue to defend a convected phony soldier like Jesse MacBeth. You guys are laughable.

Brilliant "me", good at spelling are we? Is that all you have to say?

Here is what followed the phone call where Rush used the term "phony soldier":

Here is a Morning Update that we did recently, talking about fake soldiers. This is a story of who the left props up as heroes. They have their celebrities and one of them was Army Ranger Jesse MacBeth. Now, he was a "corporal." I say in quotes. Twenty-three years old. What made Jesse MacBeth a hero to the anti-war crowd wasn't his Purple Heart; it wasn't his being affiliated with post-traumatic stress disorder from tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. No. What made Jesse MacBeth, Army Ranger, a hero to the left was his courage, in their view, off the battlefield, without regard to consequences. He told the world the abuses he had witnessed in Iraq, American soldiers killing unarmed civilians, hundreds of men, women, even children. In one gruesome account, translated into Arabic and spread widely across the Internet, Army Ranger Jesse MacBeth describes the horrors this way: "We would burn their bodies. We would hang their bodies from the rafters in the mosque."

Now, recently, Jesse MacBeth, poster boy for the anti-war left, had his day in court. And you know what? He was sentenced to five months in jail and three years probation for falsifying a Department of Veterans Affairs claim and his Army discharge record. He was in the Army. Jesse MacBeth was in the Army, folks, briefly. Forty-four days before he washed out of boot camp. Jesse MacBeth isn't an Army Ranger, never was. He isn't a corporal, never was. He never won the Purple Heart, and he was never in combat to witness the horrors he claimed to have seen. You probably haven't even heard about this. And, if you have, you haven't heard much about it. This doesn't fit the narrative and the template in the Drive-By Media and the Democrat Party as to who is a genuine war hero. Don't look for any retractions, by the way. Not from the anti-war left, the anti-military Drive-By Media, or the Arabic websites that spread Jesse MacBeth's lies about our troops, because the truth for the left is fiction that serves their purpose. They have to lie about such atrocities because they can't find any that fit the template of the way they see the US military. In other words, for the American anti-war left, the greatest inconvenience they face is the truth.

Now try an tell us Rush was talking about anybody but Jesse MacBeth!

Letter printed in ElmiraNY, Star Gazette on Nov 7th 2007:

Dear Editor:

Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh was recently smeared when a comment he made about "phony soldiers" was taken out of context and represented as an attack on all active-duty soldiers who may oppose the war in Iraq.

In fact, a review of the transcript from the show in which the comment was made clearly shows that it was a reference to an individual, Jesse MacBeth, who never completed basic training, yet claimed to have witnessed American atrocities while serving in Iraq.

Macbeth is serving jail time for falsifying an Army discharge record and VA claim.

Limbaugh also has a 20-year record of supporting the military, so any attempt to portray him as anti-soldier or disrespectful of the military is ludicrous at best.

Yet, apparently without checking the facts and once again demonstrating the influence upon him by left-wing extremists at MoveOn.org and the DailyKos, where he keeps a Web diary, Eric Massa was inspired by this false smear to post a nasty, spittle-flying, name-calling public rant against Limbaugh at YouTube, calling Limbaugh a "coward" and "schoolyard bully."

Now that the facts are in, Massa owes Limbaugh an equally public apology.

MASSA'S REPLY ON NOV 15TH:

On Nov. 7, a letter from Thomas F. Taylor of Horseheads appeared in the Star-Gazette demanding that I apologize to Rush Limbaugh for condemning his statement that our brave troops who question the president's failed Iraq strategy are "phony soldiers." Now Mr. Limbaugh has continued to backpedal from his statements by claiming that he was referring to one specific soldier, however, as the audio recordings prove, he did not make reference to that until later.

As a 24-year Navy veteran, I draw exception to anyone who slanders those who wear or have worn the uniform. My good friend Maj. Gen. John Batiste commanded the 1st Infantry Division in Iraq for more than a year and resigned to speak out against this failed administration and their rubber stamps in Congress. Is he a phony soldier as well? How about the former commander of coalition ground forces in Iraq, Lt. Gen. Ricardo Sanchez? Is he a phony soldier for pointing out that "incompetent" leadership in the White House has produced "a nightmare with no end in sight"?

Rush Limbaugh serves as an apologist to President Bush's failed strategy, and I refuse to sit silently while he slanders America's finest.

ERIC MASSA

REPLY TO MASSA:

Massa's attempt at a rebuttal was surprisingly weak.

In it, he said, "...a letter from Thomas F. Taylor of Horseheads appeared in the Star Gazette demanding that I apologize to Rush Limbaugh for condemning his statement that our brave troops who question the president's failed Iraq strategy are phony soldiers. now Mr Limbaugh has continued to backpedal from his statements by claiming that he was refering to one specific soldier, however as the audio recordings prove, he did not make reference to that until later."

If Limbaugh had qualified his remarks several DAYS or EVEN HOURS, after his initial "phony soldier' comment, perhaps Mr Massa would have had a point.

HOWEVER, what Mr Massa neglected to mention, in an obvious attempt to deceive ( and as I clearly proved to the Star Gazette's editors if you refer below to the transcript of the program in question)... is that Limbaugh referred to that individual, Jesse Macbeth,... ONLY TWO MINUTES LATER IN THE SAME BROADCAST!!! He prefaced his comments about Macbeth with the words...'TALKING ABOUT FAKE SOLDIERS"

So how , given the timing and specificity of Limbaugh's actual words, was Limbaugh referring to ALL troops who question the Iraq war as "phony soldiers"??

Isn't it interesting that Mr Massa neglected to mention those inconvenient facts?

The truth is indeed inconvenient..if you are Eric Massa.

Massa also said in his letter that he "draws exception to anyone who slanders those who wear or have worn the uniform."

Really?

When Democrat Congressman, John Murtha, attacked the Marines accused of atrocities at Haditha, declaring them guilty before all the facts were in and before those Marines had had their day in court,, where was Massa's outrage? (By the way, the charges have been dropped!!)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo-lyc4tcsM&feature=related

Silence from Massa.

When Democrat US Senator John Kerry smeared our trrops in Iraq describing them as "terrorizing Iraqi women and children"..where was Massa's outrage??

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFFk9qy_SBw

Silence from Massa.

When Democrat US Senator Dick Durbin compared our troops at Guantanamo Bay to Nazis or Soviet Guards...where was Massa's outrage?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqIlXfkylD4

Silence from Massa.

Mr Massa's self serving selective indignation reeks of hypocrisy..
