When I went to sleep Schwarzenegger's reactionary propositions were in trouble but it wasn't a rout. I woke up at 4AM and found it was a rout after all. The California Secretary of State's website shows that 99.5% of the votes have been counted and ALL the Schwarzenegger props lost.

Bloomberg ran a great analysis of Schwarzenegger's annihilation at the polls and a look how it will impact on his bid for re-election


On the other coast Michael Bloomberg, a former Democrat who calls himself a Republican (but doesn't support much of Bush's crap), won re-election. He spent between $90 and $100 per vote!
