THE REPUBLICAN PARTY'S DEATH TO AMERICA TAX

It would be too much to hope that after the never-legitimate Bush Regime is swept out of office there will be any accountability, let alone retribution, for the grievous deprecations of this horde of locusts. Nor do I actually expect there are Democrats with the balls to even THINK about confiscating all the ill-gotten wealth that has accrued to these people-- the hundreds of billions of dollars in generational wealth that has been created-- stolen-- by Bush's people for Bush's people. But sometimes I feel their greed, avarice and sense of entitlement know no bounds whatsoever and that they are actually DARING people to just try to rebel!

Today I heard that pathetic Scumbag-in-Chief on the radio urging people to send donations to the Red Cross and Salvation Army. Americans' generosity is as boundless as Bushites' greed but, give me a fucking break-- IS THIS NOT WHAT GOVERNMENT IS SUPPOSED TO DO? Is this not why men form into social groups to begin with? Today's AOL poll shows that 70% of Americans think that government response to this disaster is "poor." (12% think it is "good.")

This nightmare is NOT just about a gigantic storm devastating New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. (By the time Katrina hit, it had been downgraded to a class 4 hurricane and it veered east and missed a head-on collision with New Orleans.) But the after-effects, the criminal neglect by the Bush Regime of the levees, the complete and utter lack of a sense of urgency before, during and for days after the disaster are the reasons for the unfathomable scenes of horror we are witnessing now. But the destruction of our beloved country and our wonderful can-do-attitude government, the government built up by statesmen and national heroes like Teddy Roosevelt and Franklin Roosevelt, is a conscious goal of the small-minded party of greed and selfishness. Bush may have lied to the voters and claimed Jesus is his favorite philosopher-- no one followed up with a "Please explain" and I feel sure he never could have-- but the political philosopher who calls the shots for Bush and his regime is the execrable Grover Norquist. Norquist will live in historical infamy for the inspiration he gave Bush and the Republican Party: "My goal is to cut government in half in twenty-five years, to get it down to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub." With all the billions and billions of dollars in taxcuts to the richest 1% of Americans, they have nearly done that in far less time. Except it is the poor people of New Orleans who are drowning.

And these Republican swine are far from done. Of all the detestable slime-buckets in the GOP today, few have as ill-fated a sense of timing as that first-class jackass Bill Frist who informed Senate Finance Committee members THIS MORNING that he plans to move forward with a vote to permanently repeal the estate tax next week. Are these people out of their fucking minds? And people ask why are those people in New Orleans shooting guns? I wonder why more of us aren't!
