COMMANDER'S PALACE AND ANTOINE'S NOT SERVING; TOURISTS FREAK OUT

>

Nobody ever taught you how to live on the street
Now you're gonna have to get used to it

"I grew up in an upper-middle class family. Street life is foreign to me," said Larry Mitzel, 53, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. "I'm not sure I'm going to get out of here alive."

My sympathies to Mr. Mitzel. But in all likelihood he'll soon be hiring people to shovel the pure white snow off his driveway in lovely pure white Saskatoon. And he'll have a heroic tale of suffering, misery and privation to tell his grandkids. Judging from what Tom DeLay's Speaker of the House, Denny "bulldoze New Orleans" Hastert has to say on the matter and by what the rich, white parasites who populate the policy-setting right wing think tanks are saying, there will be NO funds whatsoever to help the desperately poor in New Orleans put their lives back together again. This is, after all why individuals band together in societies, no? To lend a hand? Isn't that why we have a government? Pay taxes? Or is it just so hucksters and charlatans like Bush and his class can get richer and richer?
