"BRING 'EM ON"- GEORGE W. BUSH, ILLEGITIMATE, UNELECTED PRESIDENT/COWARD

>

Yesterday, a radio talk show caller, disdainful of Bush but trying to be fair, thought she recalled Bush being heroic on 9/11. The talk show host didn't correct her but regardless of how Rove and Fox "News" have tried, successfully, to re-paint the events of the day, Bush was a pathetic non-leader running around the country on his jet like a chicken without a head, scared shitless and flying from Florida to military bases in Arkansas and Nebraska. He was anything but heroic. He was the physical coward on 9/11 he had been his entire life. There is a big difference between being personally brave and heroic and being a cocky bully (when you're the commander of the most powerful military force in history). Today's BOSTON GLOBE has a cartoon that captures George Bush on August 11, 2005 perfectly. Please take a look: http://content.todayscartoons.uclick.com/?feature=fd41a05909dc00e0a7a1134e35085d13

Seems the administration's mouthpiece, fox news, has already begun bashing the Rolling Stones for their new song "Sweet Neocon" on their upcoming cd release due soon.
It's but another insight to the cowardice nature of the far right wing who refuse to hear all points of view and respect those with whom they disagree.
All of those who speak their minds against this uterly contemptuous and wrong war will be chastised by rove and fox.
I'm particularly puzzled at how the true conservatives allowed the fascist neocon's and cowards to take over their party and this country.
I'm even more puzzled that there is little resistance from the people to end this nightmare.
I refuse to believe we are a nation of cowards who are afraid to confront these fascist who literally "led us into temptation and delivered us to evil!"

Tim makes an excellent point about the disappearance of the "true conservatives." Meanwhile the now-reigning phony versions go on their loony way. Yesterday thanks to Al Franken I got to see Rush spewing one of his insultingly idiotic lies--that Paul Hackett went to Iraq to "pad his resume"! Thankfully, Hackett replied in blunt and ridiculing terms. Now I gather that the "right wing noise machine" is spewing filth about Cindy Sheehan. I guess life is simpler when you feel no obligation to LISTEN to anyone else, or even pay an occasional visit to reality.

Loved the "Globe" cartoon with "Bring 'Em On" George cowering under the bed.

Tim and Ken,

Thanks for the comments. Let me answer Tim's original question about how "true conservatives" could allow neo-con fascists to take over their party. It's simple, they like power (and the trappings of power). They sold their soul for the billions of dollars they have been able to steal from the taxpayers.

Your comment, The conservatives "sold their soul for the billions of dollars they have been able to steal from the taxpayers" is oh so true. But how is it that they, just as we liberals, have to pull up to the gas pump everyday to pay the greedy opec nations for overpriced fuel? Is this another of the Saudi's two faced schemes to stick it to us, the invaders?
We're headed for $70 a barrell and the right wing talking heads act as though it has nothing to do with this war, er, nightmare.

Keninny, reality is what the right wing makes it. Until Air America and other open minded media outlets make an impression, I'm afraid the reality of reality is on hold.
