MORE PROOF BUSH STOLE THE 2004 ELECTION

>

If you don't know-- for 100% certain-- that Bush stole the presidential election in 2004 it means you don't want to know. And it surely means you haven't read Congressman John Conyers gripping book, WHAT WENT WRONG IN OHIO-- THE CONYERS REPORT ON THE 22004 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. (If you love your country and don't want to see it slide further and further from Democracy you should read it. It's barely over 100 pages.) And it means you didn't pay close attention to what Bush's team, particularly in key battleground states like Florida, Oregon, Nevada and Ohio, was up to on election day and in the weeks and months leading up to election day. Yesterday the BALTIMORE CHRONICLE published a piece by Mark Crispin Miller and Jared Irmas charging BushCheney with election fraud-- and laying out more proof. Miller and Irmas delve into a shady firm, Sproul & Associates, headed by Nathan Sproul, the former head of the Arizona Christian Coalition and the Arizona Republican Party, and the work they did on behalf of Bush's Republican National Committee. Although the GOP worked hard to cover-up their payments to Sproul, especially after the firm was caught in several states tampering with voter registrations (ie- doing voter registration drives in Democratic neighborhoods and then destroying the forms), Miller and Irmas have painstakingly and systematically followed the money and seen how the GOP corrupted to electoral system to the point where an unelected president sits in the White House (again). It has finally come out that BushCheney paid them, surrepticiously, over 8 million dollars, mostly for "consulting." Check out the whole story for yourself-- http://baltimorechronicle.com/070505Miller-Irmus.shtml

BUSH'S POPULARITY CRUMBLES IN RED STATES

As you watch Bush's approval ratings continue to sink nationally, have you ever considered what's cooking in the red states where his base is supposed to be, the states Rove is counting on to deliver a GOP majority in 2006, a majority that will keep Bush from being impeached and keep Republican crimes from being seriously investigated? Right now if you're a patriotic American and someone who cherishes Democracy and supports a progressive society, things are looking good, even in the most reactionary parts of the country. Well... maybe not in THE most reactionary part of the country; Utah and the Aryan Nation of Idaho are still firmly under the Far Right's spell. But RED states where Bush's disapproval ratings are greater than his approval ratings include Texas (fully 50% of those in his home state disapprove and only 47% approve now), Virginia (49%/46%), Louisiana (49%/47%). Oklahoma (49%/47%), South Carolina (48%/47%) and South Dakota (48%/47%). And all of these states are trending down for Bush. And among the states that Bush stole in the 2004 election, Florida reports a disapproval rating of 50%, New Mexico disapproves by 50%, and, interestingly enough, 57% of Ohioans disapprove of Bush (even more than when the state voted for Kerry only to have the votes fraudulently counted by Secretary of State/soon to be Federal Pen inmate Ken Blackwell) and 57% of Nevadans disapprove. (Over half the people in Iowa, Arkansas and Colorado also disapprove, 3 more states that Bush "won" in 2004.)
