With Less Than A Week To Go, Republicans Are Turning Their Big Guns Towards Georgia Now

>

Last night James Thompson, a progressive Democrat ignored-- as progressive Democrats tend to be-- by the DCCC and the rest of the corrupted Democratic DC Establishment, came close to winning a congressional seat in a beet red Kansas district. Had the DCCC helped fund Thompson's race, he would likely have won-- as he did in Sedgwick County, the biggest county in the district. Many Democratic activists are excited because-- with no establishment help at all-- Thompson closed the gap since November from Trump's 27 point win over Hillary to just 7 points. A 20-point turn-around nationally would mean-- between 120 and 150 fewer Republicans in Congress. Chew on that for a second.

So we're all excited. Turns out, though, so are the Republicans. Taylor Budowich is the Executive Director of the Tea Party Express. The e-mail below went out to hundreds of thousands of people nationally this morning.

You may not be aware, but something big happened last night. There was an under-the-radar special election to replace Mike Pompeo who was a member of Congress, until President Trump tapped him to lead the CIA. Mike Pompeo regularly won the district by large margins over his Democratic opponents, however, last night the Democrat came within striking distance of the conservative, Republican nominee, Ron Estes. Now, the liberals and the media have pounced, claiming this is a sign that all of our conservative victories are in jeopardy of a left-wing wave.

Now, in Georgia's 6th Congressional District there's another special election to replace HHS Secretary, Tom Price. Democrats are going all in, fueled by the "#Resistance." The Democrats want everyone to believe that they've created a political movement like the Tea Party and they are trying to prove it in Georgia. However, we know what's actually happening. Democrats are just doing what they always do, pouring in millions of dollars from their New York and Hollywood donors in support of a hand-picked candidate - the typical liberal top-down approach. But unlike previous elections, conservatives are sitting at home and not getting out to vote!

Many of our most active supporters are becoming complacent! They feel that since the Tea Party has delivered the House, the Senate, and the Presidency, that there's nothing else to accomplish. That simply is not true. If we sit back and do nothing, the Democrats will grind government to a halt and prevent President Trump and the conservative Congress from implementing conservative policies. We cannot continue to just celebrate, we must fight!

Priority 1: Do you live in Georgia's 6th District or know someone who does? If so, you must vote or get them to vote! The election is on April 18th, so remember to vote and tell your conservative friends to vote conservative too!

Priority 2: Contribute right now. I know you're often asked to make contributions to various organizations, but it is the best way to help us spread our message and get conservative voters to the polls. If conservatives turn out to vote, we will win this race in a landslide. However, if people aren't informed of the importance, we could very well lose. That should not be an option, so, please join us in this urgent campaign. There are only a few days left, so please don't hesitate!
Goal Thermometer I'll leave his contribute button off and instead put up the Blue America Flip Congress thermometer, which will allow you to contribute Jon Ossoff-- as well as to Rob Quist in Montana or Beto O'Rourke, the El Paso congressman taking on Ted Cruz for the Texas Senate seat Cruz continues to disgrace. Meanwhile, watch this video on the far right crackpot billionaire Mercer family. The Republicans aren't getting their money just from grassroots activists, but also from dangerous plutocrats like the Mercers. This video helps explain why the Mercers are pouring immense sums of money into both fringe right-wing politics and, lately, relatively mainstream Republicanism.

I wouldn't be in a hurry to celebrate the results of the special KS election and the upcoming GA election, for the RNC constantly displays an attribute sorely lacking in the DNC: the ability to make corrections. This ability isn't always active in the RNC, but when they are looking to lose what should have been a safe seat, they will double down on the voter suppression tactics, especially trimming the voter rolls. Brownback is fighting for his reputation in KS, and will go along with anything the RNC wants. Can't speak for GA, but I won't be surprised to discover that new suppression efforts are already in place.
