What Would Anti-Masturbation Activist Christine O'Donnell Say About Mitch Daniels' Protégé Wankin' In A Public Toilet?

Republican gay politics is no laughing matter

Until tonight the big gay Republican news of the week was about how South Carolina Bigot-in-Chief, King of the Teabaggers, Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) had declared that his vision of a Republican America had no room for LGBT school teachers (or single women teachers who engaged in sex either). Truth be told, though, his vision of a Republican America doesn't include public schools anyway. Like everyone from the American Taliban, of course, he's hiding behind his supposed religion. Even conservative groups are distancing themselves from DeMint's blatant bigotry, although, at least so far, his coterie of sociopath candidates-- Rand Paul (R-KY), Sharron Angle (R-NV), Joe Miller (R-AK), Pat Toomey (R-PA), Christine O'Donnell (R-DE), Mike Lee (R-UT), Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Marco Rubio (R-FL)-- are all standing by their man. No report on what the South Carolina closet case senator, Lindsey Graham has to say about it. Probably not much.

But a few hours ago, more Gay Republican News started giving the DeMint story a run for its money. Andrew Miller, a big-time crony of Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels-- someone he has continually appointed to high positions in his administration-- first director of agriculture (a position Daniels created for him), then director of the state's Office of Disaster Recovery and, most recently, his current job as the head of the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles-- was arrested in a public toilet, masturbating and soliciting sex from a random passerby (who happened to be a police undercover detective).

Like most Republican closet cases, Miller has been living a double life. He's married and has three children. He's also a big Republican Party donor, most recently to Senate candidate Daniel Coats, but frequently to the NRCC. Republicans like DeMint only know these kinds of sick and demented closet cases-- seriously mentally ill people-- and they judge all LGBT people, including well-adjusted, non-closeted gay men and women based on their contact with these self-loathing, deceitful furtive freaks. You could almost feel sorry for poor DeMint-- until you realize that it's the bigotry of people like him that drives weak human refuse like Miller into their closets for a lifetime of misery. Miller, of course, was described as "an active member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Westfield."
According to an arrest report from Indianapolis Metro Police, the arrest took place at 110 West Washington Street [a block and a half from the Indiana Statehouse] at around 1:30 pm.

Two plain clothes police officers were conducting an investigation at the men's public restroom at Claypool Court following complaints of lewd behavior.

Andrew J. Miller, 40, is accused of soliciting an undercover officer for sex. The police report describes Miller exposing himself and twice asking the officer if he wanted to "touch it."

It gets even better. Local blogger Gary Welsh at Advance Indiana brought up an old story he covered in 2006 in which a Republican official from Evansville was caught doing the exact same thing in the exact same bathroom.

"Miller was the eighth person arrested this year at the Claypool Court's men's room."

Even though I don't condone these guys having their fun while fighting against openly gay people at the same time, I thought someone who runs a blog entitled "Down With Tyranny" might want to know that there really is no way to "expose oneself" in the stalls of that mensroom; they have half-doors (in what is probably the oddest mensroom in the country) and if you had ever been in there, you'd know that the cops were probably much more aggressive in their seduction of this guy than the police reports or media would ever report.

I wonder what I would do if I came across someone jacking off in a men's room?

Maybe I'd ask whether he was republican. In the extremely rare case in which the answer was no, I'd do nothing. Take a picture or two maybe. But if he was republican (99+% of cases) I'd call the cops.

Does that make me prejudiced? Hell yes! I fucking hate republicans! They can all suck my dick, and I mean that figuratively!
