David Diapers Vitter Is Under Increasing Pressure From All Sides

Yesterday we saw how right-wingers in the Louisiana Republican Party are trying to keep David Diapers Vitter's sexual peccadilloes in the voters' minds as the 2010 midterm elections approach. Focus on the Family psychopath Tony Perkins wants to run against Vitter-- from the right-- and so does LA Secretary of State Jay Dardenne. Vitter is already the most extremist and radical right member of the Senate (tied with DeMint) so God only knows what these two neo-Nazis would cook up. Perkins has started a campaign to "recruit" a Baton Rouge porn star, Stormy Daniels, to run against Vitter, to turn his re-election campaign into a big circus. The state's Democratic Party thinks Vitter is vulnerable on the actual issues and intends to field a serious candidate to challenge him on his extremism, his obstructionism and his refusal to ever fight for the interests of Louisiana's working families.

Meanwhile, today the SEIU and twenty children's advocates, labor, faith, and community-based organizations have launched an educational campaign to make sure working families in Louisiana know how dangerous to their interests Vitter is. Something tells me that Vitter would rather be watching Stormy Daniels videos than this one:
