Will Trump's Regime Be Remembered For Having Had All The Best People?

>

From the beginning of his absurd climb to the White House, Trump consistently promised he would hire "the best people." There were people who liked his anti-status quo message but who knew he couldn't handle Washington and may of them were lulled into imagining everything would be fine because they bought the "best people" lie.

Like nearly everything with Trump, the opposite of what he says is more in touch with reality than what he says. He has consistently found the worst people, people like himself. And when someone honest or competent was recommended and slipped it, they were quickly disposed of. Stephen Miller lasted. A neo-Nazi sociopath, Miller is Trump's idea of "the best people."

Yesterday, Washington Post reporter Colby Itkowitz wrote about former Trump chief of staff-- fired-- right-win extremist Mick Mulvaney's critique that Trump chose the wrong people after Mulvaney's appearance on CNN Friday morning.

“If there was one criticism I would level against the president, he didn’t hire very well,” Mulvaney said. “He did not have experience at running government, and didn’t know how to put together a team that could work well with him.”

The conversation came amid this week’s buzz over Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton’s tell-all book about his time in the White House, in which he describes a morally corrupt president fixated on his own political success.

The list of Trump administration officials turned critics is long and includes former defense secretary Jim Mattis, former Navy secretary Richard V. Spencer and former secretary of state Rex Tillerson.

Mulvaney said most of the people now chiding the president are from the military and said, “that’s not the personality that works well with Donald Trump, who is a small-business man who did extremely well.”

Trump famously said during the 2016 presidential election that if he becomes president he would “surround myself only with the best and most serious people. We want top of the line professionals.”

But in the past three and a half years, there’s been high turnover in the White House, and Trump has attacked many of the people he once hired, such as former attorney general Jeff Sessions, whom he now despises.

At an event Thursday at the White House, as reporters were escorted out of the room, one correspondent yelled to the president: “Why do you keep hiring people that you believe are wackos and liars?”-- the names he’s called Bolton.

Trump sat stone faced and ignored the question.

Trump Hires Vicious Homophobic Sociopath To Work At USAID-- Not A Peep Out Of #LadyG (R-SC)

>

The other day we were looking at very consistent Trump's track record for always hiring the worst people for any given job-- which helps explain why his regime is such a dysfunctional, failed mess. On Friday, ProPublica, introduced us to a new clown in the circus: Merritt Corrigan-- a new Phyllis Schlafly: New Trump Appointee to Foreign Aid Agency Has Denounced Liberal Democracy and 'Our Homo-Empire'. God only knows what she will have to say about #LadyG when that shit hits the fan, but right now she is doing what she can-- with our tax dollars-- to save America from "a tyrannical LGBT agenda" while revitalizing Naziism around the globe.

Trump quietly appointed Merritt Corrigan deputy White House liaison at the U.S. Agency for International Development. Maybe he admired a post she wrote asserting that "Liberal democracy is little more than a front for the war being waged against us by those who fundamentally despise not only our way of life, but life itself."

Corrigan previously worked for the Hungarian Embassy in the United States and tweeted that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is “the shining champion of Western civilization,” Politico reported last year. An embassy spokesman, Béla Gedeon, said Corrigan left her position there in mid-April.

Orban, a far-right politician, has cracked down on civil society, academic freedom and other liberties. USAID has recently partnered with Hungary to help Christians in Iraq, a pairing that some career USAID officials said they found unsettling.

Asked about Corrigan’s writing, acting USAID spokesperson Pooja Jhunjhunwala said the agency has a “zero-tolerance policy of any form of discrimination or harassment based on gender, race, sexual orientation, religion or any other possible distinguishing characteristic that can define any of us.”

“All employees are held to the highest of standards and are expected to treat one another with dignity and respect. Period,” she said. “This includes political appointees, civil servants, foreign service officers and contractors.”

Corrigan did not respond to emails asking about her past comments.

Politico reported last year that Corrigan wrote on her Twitter account that “our homo-empire couldn’t tolerate even one commercial enterprise not in full submission to the tyrannical LGBT agenda.” Corrigan’s Twitter account is now private.

In October, Corrigan wrote an op-ed in The Conservative Woman, a London publication, decrying “the false song of feminism” and calling for women to take up traditional roles of mother, wife and homemaker.

“A woman today is expected by society to come to marriage and motherhood in physical and spiritual decline, if ever,” she wrote. “This is the life women have been offered by those who would rather us toil away as isolated economic units for faceless corporations, far from the natural pleasures of the domestic, far from the guardianship of a loving husband, and far from the life-giving experience of motherhood.”

Corrigan’s biography on the website described her as a “conservative political strategist.” She was on the payroll of the Republican National Committee between 2016 and 2018, according to campaign finance records.

Her stated positions put her directly at odds with the stated goals of her new employer. USAID uses a “liberal democracy index” as one of its metrics in deciding whether a country is self-reliant, and it has an entire office dedicated to gender equality and women’s empowerment. The agency’s website says it is working for a world in which LGBT people are “respected and able to live with dignity, free from discrimination, persecution, and violence.”

Beirne Roose-Snyder, director of public policy at the Center for Health and Gender Equity, said, “An appointee who eschews gender equality, meaningful democracy and LGBTI rights cannot possibly fulfill the mission of USAID.”

Corrigan’s appointment is the latest example of the Trump administration bringing in officials to USAID whose stated views put them at odds with the agenda the agency says it promotes.

USAID’s new deputy chief of staff, Bethany Kozma, was previously an anti-transgender activist who wrote in 2016 that transgender girls are boys “claiming gender confusion.” Kozma was formerly a senior adviser for women’s empowerment at the agency.

And last week, the Washington Post reported that a Tea Party activist with a history of making and sharing anti-Islamic comments on his personal social media profiles would be the agency’s new religious freedom adviser. News of the appointment sparked criticism from Muslim groups in the U.S. and the Anti-Defamation League.

Does Pence Have Coronavirus Already-- And Who Has He Spread It To In The White House?

>

CoronavirusCzar Mike Pence by Nancy Ohanian

One in 10 members of the Iranian parliament (the Majlis) has tested positive for coronavirus. Yesterday, a close Pelosi ally in Congress told me she;'s considering adjourning Congress for "a while." The feeling in the non-denying House is that members of Congress are out in every corner of the country shaking hands and then coming back to Washington in close quarters with each other-- and then go blackout to their districts to shake hands with more people. Most Americans understand by now that Trump can be counted on to make every possible wrong decision at every turn-- and that he never appoints any good people to any jobs. And that includes, of course, battling coronavirus. Maybe Jared would have been a better pick than Pence for this one too, who, Trump said, was chosen because he doesn't have anything else to do. When I noticed on Monday, at AIPAC, that Paul Begala predicted that Trump is "gonna dump Mike Pence" for Nikki Haley on July 16-- presumably the day Bernie makes his acceptance speech-- I was, to put it mildly, dubious. But Begala went on that the excuse would be Pence's failure to handle the coronavirus, expected to be a catastrophic pandemic by then-- adequately.
"This is not a prediction. It’s a certainty. On Thursday, July 16-- that’s the date the Democrat gives his or her acceptance address-- on that day, to interrupt that narrative, Donald Trump will call a press conference at Mar-a-Lago. He’s going to dump Mike Pence and put Nikki Haley on the ticket to try to get those suburban moms. You watch. Guaranteed," Begala said. “Trump put Pence in charge of coronavirus to throw him under the bus."
Or... maybe not. Pence will be 61 in June. People over 50 who contract coronavirus have an extraordinary chance of dying, whereas people under 50 usually seem to weather it pretty well. And Pence may well already be carrying coronavirus. [WARNING to all DWT readers: do not get anywhere near Mike Pence, let alone shake hands with him!] Why?

Last Friday Pence was at a fundraiser in Longboat Key (Sarasota, Florida) at the home of Congressman Vern Buchanan, where he shook hands and posed for photos with a cadet from the Sarasota Military Academy who is now under quarantine after his mother-- who is also under quarantine-- come in contact with a patient who tested positive for coronavirus.

Meanwhile, the Washington Post reported that "The U.S. death toll from the coronavirus rose to six on Monday, and patients were being treated in at least 15 states, deepening fears about the outbreak's rapid spread and the medical, psychological and economic toll it will exact on the United States. Four deaths announced Monday and two others this weekend all occurred in Washington state, the center of the nation’s most serious outbreak. Eight of the state’s 18 cases, as well as four of the deaths, are linked to the Life Care Center nursing home in Kirkland, Wash., and at least 50 other residents and staff members have reported coronavirus-like symptoms. King County leaders declared a state of emergency, and health officials said they are trying to figure out how far the outbreak has expanded into surrounding counties. Nationwide, the number of cases topped 100, and U.S. officials used increasingly dire language, even as they sought to push back against waves of panic and misinformation online. 'We know there will be more cases,' Vice President Pence said at a White House news conference. 'Now we’re focused on mitigation of the spread as well as treatment of people that are affected.' Trump administration officials stressed Monday that the risk posed to the public by the coronavirus remains low but cautioned the outbreak could change course as the disease spreads through person-to-person contact."

Other states with confirmed coronavirus patients include Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah and Wisconsin. It's unlikely a vaccine will be available before 2022, but Trump noted on Monday that "the market’s up today... our country’s very strong economically." He then started whining about the Federal Reserve not doing enough (to prop up the economy and his case for reelection). That was a typical bear trap and Tuesday the Dow Jones was down over 786 points by the end of the day-- even after the Fed announced a half point interest rate cut. (Remember, they don't have too many half points left to cut, largely due to Trump's personal, self-serving agenda-- and the markets know it.)

Nationwide, signs of spreading panic included the stockpiling of food, sanitizers and cleaning supplies.

At the Trader Joe’s in Mountain View, Calif., the freezer sections were empty of pizza and most ready-made meals. There was no pasta or rice. Across town at the Costco near Google’s headquarters, customers climbed shelves to reach groceries, and lines snaked through the aisles.

A Whole Foods employee in Los Altos, Calif., said the store was out of “pasta, beans, frozen vegetables, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, paper towels. “I’ve worked here 10 years, and I’ve never seen anything like this,” she said.

Health officials continued to beg Americans to stop buying masks and save them for health workers who truly need them. On cable news, U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams argued that consumers who buy masks “actually can increase the spread of coronavirus” because people who wear them improperly tend to fidget with their masks and touch their faces repeatedly.

Online, Amazon shoppers in Seattle, San Francisco, New York and Washington also ran into problems, with the company warning customers that its same-day grocery-delivery service “may be limited” amid reports of consumers stocking up.

...Meanwhile, worsening situations in various countries overseas offered possible signs of what may lie ahead for the United States.

Schools across Japan mostly closed their doors Monday in response to a controversial request by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe last week to make a concerted attempt to slow the spread of the virus.

South Korea said it would extend its school closures by two weeks to March 23, its education minister announced.

Japanese officials studying the outbreak on the Diamond Princess cruise ship said more than half of those infected-- nealy 400 out of 705 people who tested positive-- showed no symptoms, underscoring just how difficult the virus is to detect and how many people may have contracted it without knowing it. Some would never have been tested unless they had been onboard the ship, they said. While many people appear able to shrug off the virus, it clearly is devastating to the elderly and people with underlying health problems. At least seven of the cruise ship passengers died.

The European Union’s internal market commissioner said Monday the coronavirus has led to about $1.1 billion in losses per month for the European tourism industry since the start of 2020. And British Airways on Monday said it was canceling hundreds of flights-- including a dozen between London and New York-- in response to the coronavirus outbreak.

An adviser to Iran’s supreme leader died after contracting the coronavirus, state media reported Monday. Iraq and Egypt confirmed more cases, many of them linked to Iran.

Senegal confirmed its first case, marking the second case found in sub-Saharan Africa. Global health officials have expressed strong worries that the epidemic and death toll could grow rapidly if it reaches areas such as Africa, which in many places lacks the resources and the health infrastructure to combat the virus. Nigeria, the continent’s most populous country and biggest economy, announced last week that doctors had diagnosed the illness in a businessman from Italy.

Yesterday, The Guardian reported that "Pence’s public health record is disastrous. As the governor of Indiana, Pence was responsible for the largest HIV outbreak in state history. He slashed public health spending, triggering the closure of HIV testing sites. Against the advice of scientists, he banned needle exchanges, causing transmissions to spread due to increased needle sharing. Pence has also downplayed the link between smoking and cancer. 'Despite the hysteria from the political class and the media,' he once wrote in an opinion piece, 'smoking doesn’t kill.' In fact, research shows that as high as two out of three smokers die from a smoking-related illness. Pence’s track record should disqualify him for any leadership positions in public health... Pence’s appointment follows a track record of the administration prioritizing politics over scientific expertise. Trump has appointed fossil fuel lobbyists to lead the EPA, climate deniers to head up Nasa and the Council on Environmental Quality, Dow executives to USDA leadership, and a chemical industry insider to run the EPA’s toxic chemicals program. These appointments have eroded public trust and shifted the priorities of these agencies from saving lives to special interests... Now is the time for honest and humble governance. Viruses don’t discriminate between liberals and conservatives. Dedicated and talented government scientists are working hard to protect us all. We should allow them the freedom to get on with their important jobs."

Midnight Meme Of The Day!

by Noah

And then Mr. President Stable Genius made VP Mike Pence his Coronavirus Czar. That's right, a man who, like most republicans, hates science, a man who single-handedly caused an upsurge in Indiana HIV cases when he prevented distribution of sterile syringes, and doesn't even believe in evolution is now in charge of coordinating the nation's response to a coming probable pandemic. Maybe, Pence thinks he can pray away the virus. Maybe he thinks he can just hook virus victims up to one of his gay conversion machines and shock it away.

It's just like when Mr. President Stable Genius deliberately put Rick Perry in charge of the Department of Energy after Perry said he would get rid of it, appointed Betsy DeVos, who has devoted her life to destroying public education, Secretary of Education, chose Andrew Puzder, probably the man most hostile to the rights of workers in the country, as Secretary of Labor, chose pro-polluter Scott Price to head up the Environmental Protection Agency, and, well, you get the sordid picture. In short, the president who hates everything that lives and breathes, the man who has, over and over again, openly demonstrated his hate for the United States of America and contempt for its ideals while everyone just shrugs, has done it again. Republicans (and our international adversaries) call that "winning."

Do you feel safer? Do you feel more safe and reassured than you did 4 years ago?

Do you think the odds of your getting the disease have gone up or down because Trump is president?

Happy Fourth of July!

Back in the 18th century, the original 13 colonies beat the Brits and their lunatic King George III, winning the independence that we celebrate today. In the 19th century, the United States beat the die-hard Confederate traitors who still insist on fighting for the bigoted cause they call their "heritage." Then, in the 20th century, we beat the white supremacist NAZI's and their lunatic leader, too.

Now, in the early 21st century, we have horrifically come full circle: We have a lunatic white supremacist, neo-Nazi president who combines, embodies, and emboldens the sick traits of all of the above and more. He thinks he should be king and he counts Confederates, NAZIs, and Tea Party loons as the key elements of his Republican Party. All are pictured happily parading together in tonight's meme. My, what "very fine people" indeed!

Midnight Meme Of The Day!

by Noah
I hope that it will be that I showed up every day and I did the very best job that I could to put forward the president's message... to do the best job that I could to answer questions. To be transparent and honest throughout that process and do everything I could to make America a little better that day than it was the day before.
Cue the laughter. Throw the tomatoes. That was republican icon and be best liar Sarah Huckabee Sanders saying how she wanted to be remembered back in December just before Christmas, a kind of Christmas present of laughter to, or more importantly, at America. Now she's quitting and it's Bring On The Next Goon time.

Even those who have dedicated their lives to evil have a breaking point, sometimes. Was her boss's treasonous "collusion please" interview with George Stephanopoulos the bridge too far? Hard to believe since SHS had already shown that she's a true believer and had no problem making up alternate realities to protect dear leader. It's not like she ever disagreed with him on anything but, there is the cumulative burden of having to be a lightning rod for one such as Trump, every damn day after damn day. She'd already cut down her public appearances three months ago. That led some people to wonder if she had a physical health issue to go with her more obvious mental health problems.

So what now, for Sarah? Will she now go work for Judge Roy Moore in Alabama? While I see her as ending up on some Florida carny row biting the heads of chickens, the story is that SHS is going back to the shithole state from which she came, aka Arkansas. Trump tweeted that she should run for governor. Certainly, the bar is low enough, but maybe she'll just go back home and join her brother in torturing dogs, or, join her father in being a top champion of homophobia. Perhaps she could be a press secretary for a local KKK chapter. The vistas are wide open for Sarah Huckabee Sanders. And, she'll have no problem getting service in the restaurants in Little Rock.
And I hope to be remembered as a virgin.

The melding of FOX "News" and the Trump White House continues. First Trump tapped former FOX contributor and fellow Nazi sympathizer Sebastian Gorka as a White House advisor. He has now returned to the FOX loony bin. Then it was Trump's fellow sex harasser Bill Shines, the ex co-president of FOX "News" who replaced Hope Hicks when she left the White House to go to, you guessed it, GOP-TV! Sean Hannity stays at FOX but is a key Trump aide. Trump's personal lawyer is a face of Fox "News" lunatic named Rudy Giuliani. Katy McFarland came from the same treason-supporting insane asylum. She worked in the White House as the notorious Michael Flynn's deputy. There are more, lots more, including Trump's NSA head John "Swiffer" Bolton. Even Trump himself came from FOX where he, in reality, began his campaign for president by pushing the racist nonsense of birtherism that Republicans embrace to this day.

Now it's Heather Nauert, a FOX bozo who once cited D-Day as evidence of a history of a long relationship with Germany as our United Nations Ambassador. Perhaps she, like Trump and others in his party have (Pat Buchanan anyone?), wishes we had sided with Germany in WW2 and her D-Day statement is how it comes out? The surname Nauert is German in origin and has a "good advice" meaning, so maybe that is what is expected of her, no?

In any event, there she is; soon to be our new U.N. Ambassador. She didn't just come from any GOP-TV program mind you. She came from the FOX And Friends cesspool. I suppose we should be thankful that Trump hasn't dipped one rung lower in his search for members of his administration and chosen Judge Roy Moore, Cindy Hyde-Smith, Alex Jones or someone from his fast pool of porn star acquaintances.

Remember when Melania Trump announced her "Be Best" campaign? Yeah, I barely did as well. No matter. Every First Lady adopts a cause and "Be Best" was, at least on paper, her effort to do something for the mental, physical, and emotional welfare of children. She has even given some words, if not much in the way of actions, to the problem of bullying. All of this, of course, is in obvious head on conflict with everything her rancid husband and his party stand for. Her campaign was announced even as her husband was having children kidnapped and stuffed into cages.

Not that I believe it but, let's just say for argument's sake, that Melania Trump has a few ounces of sincerity in her mind somewhere. Might she try to convince Putin's Fist Puppet to let her expand her cause into looking after adult children, adults who behave like an emotionally disturbed child, as tonight's meme suggests? She could start with Brett Kavanaugh. She has the time. I would advise her not to even try with those in the White House or the Senate.

The problem is that, when it comes to the pictured Kavanaugh, it's too damn late. He is a spoiled child who never had to grow up. There will be no change of habits. All his life, he has gotten away with everything he's ever done. He won't be getting better. He will be getting worse if he isn't disbarred, impeached and removed from the United States judicial system. If he isn't, the circus of the hearing process we've been experiencing for the last many days will pale in comparison to what's to come. Suppose more detailed and more provable accusations of past behavior are to come next week, next month, or next year. If he is further emboldened by a continued free pass or a get out of jail free card, what might he try next? The Kavanaugh story is TV drama. It's reality TV. In TV crime shows, the drunken judge kills someone with a car. The woman hating lawyer rapes an underage girl... You know how this goes.

Whatever happens, it's all on the people who put Kavanaugh wherever he is; the people who made excuses for him all his life; the people who emboldened him; the people in the senate who saw his obvious issues as no big deal, maybe even attributes; just one of the boys.

What Is The Trump Regime Doing To America?

>

Matt Lewis is a long-time conservative pundit and writer and you may run across his stuff in the DailyBeast from time to time. Yesterday he asked a poignant question all Republicans should be asking themselves: Did I Join a Movement That Naturally Attracts Extremists and Kooks?. He did and he wants to understand why. "Politics," he wrote, has always attracted eccentric opportunists, but people in this administration are especially weird." He may detest everything about Omarosa but he's savvy enough to understand that "she's just the latest example of the motley crew Trump has made famous." For a guy who believed, as a very, very, very young man that Reagan's movement had "intellectual heft," he sees the Trump Regime as "an aberration" rather than as the inevitable outcome.
Take, for example, the president’s campaign manager, Paul Manafort, who is currently on trial for tax and bank fraud and reportedly paid more than $18,000 for a python jacket. Or Trump’s former senior adviser, Steve Bannon, who studies obscure Italian fascists and insists on wearing multiple layers of clothing yet doesn’t seem to own a comb or a razor.

And let’s not forget Rob Porter, the straight-looking Trump staffer who (allegedly) beat the hell out of two of his ex-wives before dating Hope Hicks. Seb Gorka was the Hungarian fugitive who was a villain straight out of central casting. Scott Pruitt was the former head of the EPA with a penchant for French cuisine and Ritz Carlton hand lotion. Only the best people?

Clearly, Trump likes casting people who are not just interesting characters, but who are also cartoon caricatures. There’s Rudy Giuliani, the bulging-eyed former “Mayor of America” who has become a parody of himself. There’s Mooch (Anthony Scaramucci), who is essentially a caricature of a fast-talking Italian businessman.

And Michael Cohen, the Trump lawyer who watched Goodfellas one too many times. And Corey Lewandowski, the erstwhile campaign manager who probably still has a poster of Lee Atwater hanging on his bedroom wall. And even Stephen Miller’s own uncle thinks he’s a schmuck. I could go on.

It’s almost as if Trump visited the far corners of the universe to bring together a collection of supervillains.

...Normal Americans find ourselves asking... How many people do you know who have (allegedly) beaten the hell out of two ex-wives? How many people do you know who worked for Russian oligarchs? How many people do you know who have been indicted? Any members of your family own a python jacket? ... Think of it this way: Even if you prefer the implementation of conservative public policy (as I do), on the micro level,  who would you trust alone to watch your children? Donald Trump? Rudy? Gorka? Or Barack Obama? I have to say, I’d trust Obama in a minute.

...In recent years, the worst trends seem to have disproportionately hit the American right. It’s unclear why the right was more susceptible to forces that ultimately gave us Donald Trump’s “legion of doom,” but my guess is that conservatives felt like they had to create alternative media outlets to distribute their message. Along the way, those alternative media outlets (most famously, talk radio and Fox News), metastasized from alternate outlets into alternate realities. Liberals, still wedded to mainstream media outlets, are (for now) more moored to reality.

If I were coming of age today and my example for conservatism was based on Donald Trump, Laura Ingraham, and Sean Hannity, would I sign up? I can’t imagine that I would join that cause. Should this trend continue, it’s going to be increasingly hard for Republicans to attract thoughtful, compassionate, and even sane supporters. If that happens, not only will the GOP become progressively whiter, older, more rural, and more male, it will also become... weirder.
How could anyone possibly disagree? Another rightist writer, this time at the National Review, Jay Nordlinger, was whining yesterday that Rubio seemed to be embracing what Barack Obama used to say when he was deriding and caricaturing conservative philosophy: You’re on your own!" Rubio denounced "the radical you’re-on-your-own individualism promoted by our government and by our society in the last 30 years." From some kind of tower of unreality, Nordlinger, has persuaded himself that Republican emphasis on "limited government, civil society, and personal responsibility" was not all about "dog-eat-dog individualism" (it was) and not social Darwinism (it is).
Currently, there is a critique of the Right that goes something like this:
For years, conservatives had a message for the down and out in inner cities: Quit blaming others for your problems. Take responsibility for your lives. Drop the mantras of “systemic racism” and “the legacy of slavery.” Reject the victim mentality. Turn down your music, hitch up your pants, lay off drugs, stop having babies out of wedlock, get a job.

And now? The Right talks differently, when it comes to the down and out-- the down and out in places other than inner cities. They do a lot of scapegoating: of foreigners, immigrants, banks-- the whole populist arsenal.
If this critique stings, it may be because there is truth in it. I think of Donald Trump’s closing ad in the 2016 campaign, his “final argument.”

...Name calling has apparently become a Republican trait-- a sine qua non. The Trump style has trickled down to the Republican party and the conservative movement at large. This is something hard to measure in the usual balls-and-strikes approach to Trump.

According to polls, a startling percentage of Republicans have a favorable view of Putin; and a startling percentage wish Trump had the authority to shut down media outlets he dislikes. How do you measure that in balls and strikes?
In November.

In case you missed it, the most disgusting man in the world has brought another of his "Best People" onto his staff. He really knows how to pick 'em. Bill Shine inflicted us with 24 hour, round the clock propagandistic vomit designed to shred the idea of America once and for all. He's perfect for the job of destroying America. Every single person he hired at FOX "News" to broadcast his brand of filth into our homes is a modern day Tokyo Rose.

Bill Shine comes with his own fleas. He will, of course, will feel right at home with the other loathsome miscreants that have moved into the White House and turned it into a clogged, gag-inducing, rat-infested raw sewage culvert. Likewise, I'm sure that those already running and skittering around the corridors have welcomed him with open paws. I can't wait to hear Sarah Huckabee Sanders sing his praises.

Find out where this guy eats and call the health inspectors.
