Sunday Classics preview: Tonight's little violin solo may be MORE fun for you if you can't identify it, or who's playing it
>
Violinist A
Violinist B
We have two very different takes on this luscious little violin solo. Note just the timings, Violinist B at roughly 44 seconds taking a full third longer than Violinist A at 33. Either way, it's an amazing half-minute-plus (or maybe three-quarters of a minute) of music.

Of course many of you will recognize not just the music but one or even both performers. However, I think those who don't may have even more fun with this.
I'm going to identify the music and soloists in the click-through, and we'll hear the music in somewhat fuller context, with what leads into it and a bit of what it's so tantalizingly teasing us into, and we'll also hear some other violinists -- whom you'll have the opportunity to identify, if you like -- play this same delicious solo, all in preparation for Sunday's main post.
